Public Financial Management for Climate Action Network (PFM4CA) — Launch Event
About the Event
This event marked the launch of the Europe and Central Asia (ECA) PFM4CA network, a collaborative platform for sharing insights, experiences and priorities for strengthening public financial management's core practices and advancing to climate-smart policies and practices.
A core focus of the network and this event was public investment and asset management — recognising the critical role that infrastructure investment decisions play in green transition trajectories.
The event convened senior government officials from the ECA region, alongside international development partners and experts. Policies and practices from the Western Balkans, Caucasus, and European Union countries were shared and discussed. It also presented the network's strategic objectives and planned activities, fostering a dialogue to align with the needs and expectations of World Bank counterparts.
